WrenSocial Pie Night

It's here! WrenSocial Pie Night is this Friday (Feb 24th) from 7pm

This weeks ales are:

Shepherd Neame Master Brew
Mater Brew is brewed using only the finest Kentish barley and hops and is Shepherd Neame's flagship beer in the brewery's Kentish heartland. The "Local Hero" is a distinctive, mid-brown bitter ale, with all the hoppy aroma you would expect of a beer brewed in the heart of the hop country.

Hand-crafted by the Faversham brewery's talented team of experienced brewers, it is a well-balanced traditional ale, with a taste that's been described as "wonderfully aggressive, tinged with sweetness".

Delicate and devilishly drinkable, this quintessentially Kentish ale lays the county's hallowed, herbaceous hops on a firm, biscuity bed of pale and crystal malt. Endowed with an inviting auburn-amber hue and a tantalising toffee-ish aroma, it's an enlivening English ale that, given its unassuming ABV, pleasures the palate with a remarkable fullness of flavour.

Adnams Lighthouse
Yes Trevor - it's call Lighthouse!

A classic amber beer delivering a crisp, refreshing taste. With its light fragrance, lovely malt flavours and long hoppy after palate, Adnams Lighthouse shines through as another champion Beer From The Coast.

See you tonight (Thursday 23rd) from 8pm or tomorrow for the WrenSocial Pie Night from 7pm.

 Or both - why not!

Sorry there's no WrenSocial this week

We're very sorry, but Wreningham Social Club is not open this Thursday or Friday night as the hall is being used for the village pantomime - Oh no it's not - Oh yes it is! Sorry.

See you next week and remember it's the World famous (well almost) WrenSocial Pie Night on Friday 24th February from 7pm!

It's Feelgood February

Half-term is nearly here, you're facing the depressing prospect of having to visit one of the card shop places to pick-up the nearest valentines card to the door and to top it all - next week the Social Club is closed because the village panto will be in full-swing!

Face it you need cheering up, so get down to the Social Club tonight (Thursday) or tomorrow and we'll put a smile on your face, we've gone to the Elgood's for our guest ale: 'Copper Feelgood'.

Elgood & Sons Ltd is a family-owned brewer in the heart of the Fens and they describe their February special ale (3.7%) as a copper-coloured refreshing bitter.

We've also got some 'Beer Rocks 2012' and all the usual tipples behind the bar. VIEW DRINKS LIST

That'll do nicely thank you. I feel better already.

It's Family Night!

A reminder that it is early opening tonight (from 6:30pm) for our monthly family night.

So wrap-up the little darlings (and your other half) and head down to your Social Club to catch-up with others in the villiage.

Ales on tap tonight are: 'Adnams Lighthouse' and 'Beer Rocks 2012', but whatever your tipple, we've got lots of choice (View Bar Selection) and there's FREE soft drinks for the children too.

Hope to see you and yours later!
